Meltdown AU: Patrice St. Pim and Petra Petrikov/Cold Witch vs the Lich Queen

If anyone is asking who Petra is, Petra Petrikov is the gender-swapped counterpart of Peter Petrikov. Like Peter, who is a half-human ice wizard, Petra is a half-human ice wizard. She is the daughter of Benny Grof and the Ice Queen Simone.

....But the Ice Queen was not created by Ice King. The fourth episode of 'Fionna and Cake' established that Fionnaworld and all of the characters innit were created by Prismo and then shoved into Ice King's head.

IK later mistook the knowledge of Fionnaworld that seeped through to his conscious mind as his own ideas and wrote them as fanfiction and, well, the rest is history. But the person who originally designed and created the Ice Queen in-universe was Prismo - someone who is fully capable of knowing Ice King's backstory.

Now, whatever or not he would choose to incorporate the Simon backstory into his own Ice Queen is kind of it's own question. But the fact that without Magic, the Ice Cream Queen (as she is called in the credits) defaults to Simon's skin and hair color and his silly little bowtie does suggest some sort of connection. Although.... that can also be explained as part of Simon's subconscious influence on Fionnaworld after his memories are restored.

(Also as for 'Magic Benny', I know what I wrote in my original post but I was corrected a lot in the Replies so I'm gonna also correct myself here. Despite my initial instincts, this character is probably not meant to be a Genderswap of the Wizard version of Betty Grof - but just a Human version of the original Magic Man. The nose is actually kind of a dead giveaway, whoooops.)

Ice Queen’s Mundaneworld design is actually pretty interesting. Cause, like, the whole world lost its magic when Ice King became Simon again - including Ice Queen, who had become an ordinary woman… but she didn’t quite become some sort of Gender-Flipped Simon Petrikov either. 

She has some elements of Simon’s design, most notably the skin and hair color… but the long long hair and the prominent lightning-shaped eyebrows are more of a connection to Ice Queen's design, than for any sort of version of Simon or Simone or whoever, it feels to me.

Which should presumably exist, since we also saw Fionnaworld has what seems like it's version of Magic Betty.

Most notably for me is that she doesn’t wear glasses, which are, like, the symbol of Simon’s own personal identity.

The design of her lil' Ice Cream Cart has a mountainy design that is pretty obviously a reference to the Ice Kingdom. Her one interaction with Fionna was antagonistic and seemingly showed her with a bit of the ol’ Magic Crown/Tiara Temper and… like, her uniform is literally designed with a lil Tiara on top. 

Buuuut, also also maybe you can’t blame her for being kinda pissed off considering Fionna’s bizarre actions, and she seems like a very reasonable and wholesome woman when left to her own devices, and especially when interacting with kiddie customers. Which calls to mind Simon’s nurturing instincts. 

And probably most interestingly, despite missing the biggest symbol of Simon’s identity and original personality - she does have what is probably the second biggest symbol, the bowtie. 

It’s just a fun mix of Simon-y and Ice Monarch Traits, I don't think she's meant to be quite a full-on Fionnaworld version of Simon as we know him, but she's also not quite just Ice Queen either.
